Breastfeeding Guidelines for Infants Aged 0-6 Months:
·Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. Exclusive breastfeeding should be maintained for the first 6 months.
·Initiate breastfeeding within 1 hour after birth, and take early suckling seriously.
·Practice responsive feeding and establish a healthy daily routine.
·Replenish vitamin D appropriately. Calcium supplementation is unnecessary for breastfed infants.
·Any thoughts or actions that may undermine breastfeeding must be discussed with a doctor or other qualified professional, and decisions should be made with their assistance.
·Monitor the infant's physical growth indicators regularly to ensure healthy development.
Feeding Guidelines for Infants and Young Children Aged 7-24 Months:
·Continue breastfeeding. Complementary foods must be introduced starting at 6 months of age, and start with iron-rich pureed foods.
·Introduce a variety of foods in a timely manner, and emphasize the addition of animal-based foods.
·Minimize added sugar and salt, use appropriate amounts of oil, and maintain the natural flavor of foods.
·Promote responsive feeding, and encourage but do not force-feed.
·Pay attention to food hygiene and feeding safety.
·Monitor physical growth indicators regularly, and strive for healthy development.
Dietary Guidelines for Preschool-Aged Children:
·Eat a varied diet and eat regularly. Encourage self-feeding to foster healthy eating behaviors.
·Drink milk daily, consume adequate water, and make sensible snack choices.
·Use proper cooking methods, and minimize seasonings and deep-frying.
·Involve children in food selection and preparation to enhance their understanding of and appreciation for food.
·Engage in regular outdoor activities, and conduct periodic physical measurements to support healthy growth.
